  went to Townsville to get car repaired and see Dr.
  my parts for car had to come from England held up due to covid in Australia.
  found out can only stay 2 night's in a week in the whole of Townsville in free camps.
  Caravan Parks out of my price range $300 per week.
  I booked with Townsville council 3 days in advance for Bluewater free camp to stay 2 nights
  I drove my broken car all the way out there to find at midday nowhere for me to camp full of people probably no permit no one policing it
  
  So if you have to book get a permit shouldn't that mean you secured a spot and that numbers are restricted and someone policing it.
  
  No it's none of these I rang council told them all other camps booked out.
  I am now battling to find safe place to be while getting car fixed and my health is in trouble.
  Shame on Townsville council 2 days in a week??????
  no one can afford caravan parks and so no one bothers to shop in Townsville,. 2 night's is barely enough to rest let alone sight see Townsville
  
  Disgusting no point booking a site it's over crowded and vans parking on top of each other no regard for privacy,respect or safe distancing. minimum 3 metres is what it supposed to be for fire safety privacy and covid but in Bluewater your lucky to get 3 ft.
  Skip Townsville go elsewhere no peace or rest in this town. Mayor of Townsville should be ashamed treating people this way.
  Need restrictions a number or no permits and take pit luck but when you do right thing get permit and can't get in due to campers with no permit totally unfair.
  Get it sorted council makes no sense at all

  Yep, a nice overnight stop. There's an oval next to you to do some exercise. Some water available and there's toilets. Speak nicely with fellow travellers and there'll make room for you.

  Great kids playground & lots of grass to run around on. Clean toilets, plenty of shade for vans & heaps of pergolas & bins etc. Near Bluewater river, permit required.

  It's a great place to relax. The park has swings fot the kids and it's quite.

  Great place to pull up for a couple of days. Signs say you need a permit but check up with council. Toilets blocked today 10th June 2032
